An AI contract review tool for your playbook, with lawyers deciding.
A 30-page supplier agreement arrives. The first pass against your positions is done before a lawyer picks it up.
This AI contract review tool compares each clause with your firm's playbook. Deviations are listed with the exact passage cited and your preferred fallback suggested. The lawyer reviews every point, decides what to raise and owns the advice.
- Checked against your playbook
- Every issue cites the clause
- Confidential, access controlled
No upfront consultation fee. Free discovery and a free tailored proposal.
Clause 5.2Invoices are payable within 14 days, with late interest at 2% per month.
Clause 9.2The Customer's total liability under this Agreement shall not be limited.
Clause 12.1Renews automatically for further 2-year terms unless 6 months' notice is given.
Clause 18.1This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Every contract gets the same first read, by hand.
Most incoming contracts are variations on familiar terms. Lawyers still read every page to find the few clauses that depart from the firm's positions, then type the same comments again. As volume grows, turnaround slips.
Before: the first pass by hand
- Open the contract and find the key clauses
- Compare each one with the playbook from memory
- Copy the passages into an issue list
- Draft comments and fallback wording
- Summarise it for the client or business
After: the review assistant
- Contract uploaded to a secure matter workspace
- Clauses segmented and compared with your playbook
- Deviations listed with cited passages and fallbacks
- Lawyer reviews each issue and decidesYour team
- Summary and redline instructions exported to Word

Where the review happens.
Contracts come from where your team already keeps them. Findings go back to the matter file, and access follows your matter permissions.
Document management systems differ in what their APIs allow. Where yours is closed, contracts can be uploaded to the review workspace directly.

AI contract review tool questions.
Straight answers about scope, data, ownership and support. Can’t find yours? Ask us directly below.
How does an AI contract review tool work?
It splits the contract into clauses, schedules and definitions, then compares each clause with the standard, acceptable and fallback positions in your playbook. Every finding links to the exact passage and is grouped by risk level, with your approved fallback wording. A lawyer then accepts, edits or rejects each issue before anything is exported.
Can an AI legal assistant replace our lawyers?
No. It handles the first pass: finding clauses, comparing them with your playbook and citing the passages. Interpretation, negotiation strategy and client advice stay with the lawyer on the matter, who signs off every summary. It never gives a final opinion or sends anything to the other side.
What if our firm has no written playbook?
That is a common starting point. We work with your lawyers to capture standard positions and fallbacks from past contracts and precedents, beginning with the contract types you see most, such as NDAs or supply agreements. The playbook then grows as lawyers correct and refine findings during review.
Does it work with Word, Google Drive and our document system?
Yes. Contracts can come from Google Drive, Outlook or your document management system, in Word or PDF, and findings are exported to a Word document for the matter file. Where a document management system has a closed API, contracts are uploaded to the review workspace directly instead.
Can it review scanned contracts and Bahasa Melayu documents?
Yes, with checks. Scanned copies are read with OCR and checked for quality before review, and contracts in Bahasa Melayu can be compared with the same playbook. We test on your real documents first, because scan quality and drafting style vary between firms and counterparties.
How is client confidentiality protected?
Access is limited by matter and role, so a contract is visible only to its matter team. Activity is logged, storage is encrypted and client documents are kept out of model training. Hosting, retention and AI providers are agreed with you under PDPA, and a private deployment is available for sensitive matters.
How is this different from general AI tools for lawyers?
It works from your firm's own positions, not general knowledge. Generic AI for lawyers answers questions in a chat; this compares every clause with your playbook, cites the passage behind each issue and produces an issue list in your Word template. Access follows your matter permissions, and nothing leaves the firm without a lawyer's sign-off.
What does it cost, and how long does setup take?
It depends on the contract types you review, whether your playbook is written down and whether you deploy in the cloud or privately, so it is quoted privately after a free discovery session. Timelines follow the same factors. We start with one contract type, such as NDAs, test it on your samples, then add others.
