Invoice capture
Invoices collected from email, upload or a shared folder, as PDFs, scans or photos, and grouped by company book.
Supplier invoices into AutoCount without retyping, with MyInvois e-invoicing scoped as its own step.
We connect to AutoCount through its API where your edition allows it, read each supplier invoice, check the company, supplier and account code, and create a draft only after a reviewer approves. Where you need it, we also prepare e-invoice data from your sales records for LHDN's MyInvois System.
No upfront consultation fee. Free discovery and a free tailored proposal.
Supplier invoices arrive by email, upload and phone photo. Each one is keyed in, coded and checked by eye, and mistakes surface at month end or during the audit.
The slow work sits between the invoice and the ledger. We automate the typing and the checks, and leave the accounting decisions with your team.
Invoices collected from email, upload or a shared folder, as PDFs, scans or photos, and grouped by company book.
Each supplier is matched to an existing creditor in that book. New or unclear suppliers are flagged, not created silently.
Each line gets a suggested GL account and tax code from that company's own booking history, not a generic category.
Rules check AutoCount for duplicates, the Bill-To against the company book, and the codes against your chart of accounts.
Accountants see the invoice beside the mapped fields, fix anything doubtful and approve. Every edit is logged.
After approval, a draft purchase invoice is created in AutoCount and logged, so you can see what is pending or drafted.
Rules check the company, supplier and codes the same way every time. AI reads the invoice and suggests the coding, and a reviewer approves before a draft is created.
AutoCount stays your system of record. The automation collects invoices where they arrive, checks them, and writes approved drafts into the right book.
AutoCount Cloud connects through its API. For other AutoCount editions and versions, we confirm the integration route during discovery. MyInvois access depends on your LHDN setup and permissions.
Document processing & OCR →Getting invoices into AutoCount is an accounting workflow. Submitting e-invoices to LHDN's MyInvois System is a separate step with its own rules, so we scope the two separately and agree what is included.
Check current LHDN e-invoice requirements before go-live.
The automation does the typing. These controls keep the accounting decisions with the people responsible for the books.
Each invoice is checked against AutoCount for duplicates and routed to the right company book. A mismatched Bill-To stops it.
Codes are validated against your chart of accounts. Anything doubtful waits in an exception queue, and drafts are created only after approval.
Source files kept, extractions, edits and approvals logged, and access limited to the people who need it. Data handling, AI providers and hosting are confirmed per project.
No OCR or AI system reads every invoice correctly, so review stays part of the process.
A Malaysian accounting firm's supplier invoices, around 1,500 a month, now take under a minute each in AutoCount, including review. The solution showcases cover MyInvois submission, bank reconciliation and job-to-invoice.

Yes. Our AutoCount invoice automation for a Malaysian accounting firm connects to AutoCount Cloud through its API, with one connection per client book. For other AutoCount editions and versions, we check the available integration route during discovery and confirm feasibility before we quote.
Staff review first. The AI reads and codes each invoice and the system runs its checks, but nothing is written to AutoCount until a person approves it. Entries go in as drafts, so your team keeps the final say on every posting.
Codes are suggested from that company's booking history and checked against its chart of accounts. The reviewer sees the suggestion beside the invoice and can change it before approving, and the change is logged. Codes that don't exist in the book are flagged rather than created.
Each invoice's Bill-To details are checked against the company book it's heading for, and anything that doesn't match is stopped for review. A duplicate check runs against AutoCount itself, and an accountant approves before a draft is created.
Only if it's in your scope. Many projects cover the AutoCount workflow alone. Where you need it, we can prepare e-invoice data from your sales records, submit it through the MyInvois API and store the result (the IRBM Unique Identifier Number, validation date and time, and validation link) against the original document. If your AutoCount edition or another provider already submits e-invoices, we work alongside that instead.
A failed validation comes back with an error, which we route to the right person to correct and resubmit. LHDN's guideline also sets a short window after validation for buyer rejection requests and supplier cancellations, after which adjustments are made with a credit, debit or refund note. We surface each of these with the reason attached. Check the current guideline on hasil.gov.my, as the rules can change.
That depends on LHDN's implementation timeline and your business. Check the current timeline on hasil.gov.my or ask your tax adviser. We build the automation; we don't give tax advice.
We confirm data handling for each project, including which AI providers are used, their no-training terms where available, and where the system is hosted (your infrastructure or a managed server). Source documents are kept, extractions, edits, approvals and submissions are logged, and access is limited to the people and systems that need it.
We provide a quote after learning about your systems, scope and requirements. We don't publish standard project rates. AutoCount licences and any third-party fees are separate.
Tell us your AutoCount edition and send a few sample invoices. We'll show you what can be automated, where e-invoicing fits, and prepare an initial plan built around your books.
