AI Consulting & Strategy

AI consulting that finds where AI makes a real difference.

AI strategy and consulting for businesses unsure where AI will pay off.

We review your workflows, systems and manual workload, then rank the opportunities by impact and effort. You'll know what to tackle first, what to leave for later and what a practical first project looks like.

  • Starts with your workflows
  • Vendor-neutral advice
  • Written initial plan, free

No upfront consultation fee. Free discovery and a free tailored proposal.

The challenge

Plenty of AI tools. Not much clarity.

Most businesses don't lack AI ideas. They lack a clear view of which ones are worth the money, the data work and the change in how people work.

Without a plan
With an AI assessment
Every vendor pitching a different AI tool
Options compared against how your business runs
No clear return on any of them
Each idea scored on impact, effort and risk
Isolated pilots that stall before production
A pilot scoped to connect to your real systems
Unsure what data is safe to use with AI
Data and security reviewed before anything is built
AI considered where plain rules would do
AI only where a step needs reading or judgement
What we cover

From workflow review to a pilot plan.

An assessment looks at how the work really happens, then tests each idea for value, feasibility and risk before anything is recommended.

01

Workflow discovery

We map how work moves through your teams today, where the time goes and which steps are still manual.

02

Opportunity assessment

Each candidate is scored on impact, effort and risk, with notes on why, so the priorities are easy to defend.

03

Feasibility checks

We check whether your data, systems and APIs can support each idea, and where a person must stay involved.

04

Data and security review

Where sensitive data sits, which AI providers suit it and which hosting options fit your rules.

05

ROI assumptions

Time, volume and error assumptions written down with you, so the expected return can be checked against a pilot.

06

Roadmap and pilot planning

A sequenced plan, a scoped first pilot and the success measures that tell you whether to continue.

How an idea gets assessed.

Every candidate goes through the same steps. Some become a pilot. Others are parked, and the plan says why.

Systems we review

We start with the tools you have.

A good plan builds on the software your teams already use. We look at each system's data, APIs and limits before recommending anything new.

  • Airtable
  • Greenhouse

We stay vendor-neutral. Recommendations depend on each system's API, your licences and your data rules, and sometimes the answer is a process change rather than a new tool.

What you receive

A plan you can act on.

Every engagement starts with a free discovery and a written initial plan. Deeper paid consulting is available if you need it, with its deliverables agreed before it starts.

Free: an initial automation plan
After a free discovery: an opportunity shortlist, the recommended approach, priorities, assumptions, risks, a pilot scope and a private quote.
Paid: deeper consulting
Multi-team audits, detailed requirements, architecture, ROI modelling and an implementation roadmap, scoped and quoted separately.
Deliverables defined first
Before any paid engagement, we agree in writing what you'll receive and how success will be measured.
Honest about limits
If plain automation, a process change or no change is the better answer, the plan says so.
How we work

From first call to a clear plan.

  1. 01

    Free discovery

We discuss your goals, the work that takes the most time and the systems involved.

  2. 02

    Workflow review

We look at how the work really happens, using real examples, and list the candidate opportunities.

  3. 03

    Prioritise and plan

We score each opportunity, check feasibility and write the plan, with a pilot scope and a private quote.

  4. 04

    Pilot, if you want one

If you go ahead, we build and test the first pilot against agreed success measures.

Paid consulting and every build have an agreed scope and acceptance criteria before work starts.

Project scope

Scoped around your questions.

The free initial plan suits most businesses. If you need a deeper assessment, we scope it around these factors.

Breadth
One team and workflow, or several departments and business units.
Interviews and workshops
How many people we need to speak with to see how the work really happens.
Data readiness
Clean, connected data, or scattered records that need preparing first.
Systems involved
The number of tools a recommendation or pilot must cover.
Depth of deliverables
A shortlist and plan, or detailed architecture, ROI model and roadmap.
Advise or build
A plan only, or a plan followed by a built and tested pilot.
FAQ

AI consulting questions.

Straight answers about scope, data, ownership and support. Can’t find yours? Ask us directly below.

Do we need AI, or would normal automation be enough?

Often normal automation is enough. Many processes need fixed rules, integrations and approvals rather than AI. We recommend AI only where a step needs reading, classifying or judgement, such as unstructured documents or free-text messages. The initial plan shows which steps are rules, which use AI and which stay with a person.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. The discovery consultation is free, and so is the written initial plan that follows it. The plan outlines the business problem, recommended workflow, potential automations, key assumptions, scope, phases and a tailored project quotation, to help you decide whether to proceed. Detailed engineering design and implementation are part of a separate project agreement.

What does an AI consultant actually deliver?

Concrete outputs, not just advice: an opportunity shortlist ranked by impact and effort, a recommended approach, the priority order, the assumptions and risks, a proposed pilot scope and the success measures to judge it by. A paid engagement adds depth, such as detailed architecture, ROI modelling and a full implementation roadmap.

How much does an AI consulting engagement cost?

We don't publish standard rates. The discovery and initial plan are free. Deeper paid consulting, such as multi-department audits, detailed requirements and architecture, ROI modelling or a full roadmap, is scoped and quoted separately, with deliverables agreed in writing before it starts. Builds are quoted privately after discovery.

Do you only advise, or do you build it too?

Both. We design the plan and, if you choose, build the automations, AI agents and integrations it recommends, then hand over a working system with documentation. You're free to use the plan with another provider or your own team.

Can you work with the tools we already use?

Yes. We start from the software your teams already use and recommend new tools only where they add something. We are vendor-neutral about AI models and automation platforms, and recommend what fits your budget, data sensitivity and use case.

How do you estimate ROI?

From your own numbers, not industry averages. We agree with you how long a task takes today, how often it happens and what errors cost, then estimate what changes after automation, including the review time people still spend. The assumptions are written down so you can check them against the pilot's results.

What if automation isn't worthwhile?

Then the plan says so. Some processes are too low in volume, too variable or too dependent on judgement to justify the cost. We'd rather recommend a process change, a simpler tool or no change than a project that won't pay off.

How do you handle data privacy and security?

Data handling is part of the assessment. We ask for the minimum access we need, keep sensitive actions under human approval in anything we recommend, and can design cloud, bring-your-own-key or private options depending on how sensitive your data is. Data handling, AI providers and hosting are confirmed per project.
